Fantasy ribbons, organdy ribbons, cord, passementerie, bias tapes…every one of these has special, differentiating properties that make them especially suitable for specific purposes. Spiral by Safisa is well aware of how important it is to renovate and expand their catalogue every season, meeting clients’ needs and preferences. So, in order to meet them, they present the new bias tape products here.

Shades of brown

A walk in the woods, trekking, walking downhill, or just breathing in cool, new air, will connect us with Nature. The combination of Nature and ribbons has given way to the new bias tapes by Spiral by Safisa.

On this occasion, fantasy cotton bias tapes merge with earthen shades of brown, so there are lots of choices in various intensities, also in combination with floral motifs, dark brown on a beige background, on a tan-coloured bias tape.

Floral families bring colourful designs that are even romantic, with red, blue and fuchsia petals in an exuberant garden that brings peace of mind.

There is also a minimalist, updated version of the six-petal flower lending new dynamics to bias tapes. The renovated design is young, less-than-classic attractive, and always functional.

Bias tape properties

Spiral’s product catalogue shows so many bias tape choices because there are so many different patterns and properties in each, and as bias tape is cut at a 45° angle, the fabric will stretch and adapt to the shape of clothing items when sewing.

Spiral brings us the classic, cotton-polyester bias tape, in more than 110 different colours. But there are also print bias tapes in flax-cotton and 100% cotton versions, in natural colours, in addition to lace bias tapes, and the Vichy or stripe-pattern versions.
